"The World of Sugitha Surendran"
“Where the rhythmic echoes of Ghungroos meet the quiet precision of technology”.
For Sugitha, the stage is where life truly begins. Her journey in Kuchipudi is a vibrant tapestry of tradition, storytelling, and relentless dedication. To her, dance is more than a sequence of movements; it is a sacred language used to carry forward an ancient legacy. Whether she is mastering the powerful balance on a brass plate or breathing life into a mythological character through Abhinaya, her primary mission is to keep the flame of this classical art form burning bright for a modern audience. But Sugitha’s world isn’t defined by tradition alone. She is a woman of the digital age an MCA graduate and a thriving IT professional. While most see the arts and tech as polar opposites, Sugitha sees them as a perfect duet. The same discipline required to debug a complex system is what fuels her during hours of rigorous dance practice. Her career in IT provides the logical framework of her life, while Kuchipudi offers the creative liberation that makes that life complete.
